The Deconstruction is about re-thinking the world as we know it, taking it apart, making a few adjustments, then putting it back together a little awesomer-er.  It’s a light-hearted competition/ game, but it’s really more of a large-scale collaboration between friends, teams, and the public. The concept is to make the world a slightly better, more fun, and more interesting place over 48 hours. The event is open to anyone, anywhere, of any age and skill level.

We are a family. Eve is ma, Pelham is pa, Wolf is son A1 (4 years old),Archer is son 1A (.416 years old), Mojo (? years old) is cat with Flea Friends (immortal). We are inventors, musicians, engineers, witches andwarlocks, ninjas, superheros, droolers and of course artists. We like fixingfree, found, things and making bread. We place importance on thephilosophy of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, defined by wikipedia as “Atoning for educability through delicate beauty.”

Is the deconstruction of the heart’s rhythms into a water sequence that is pumped through a transparent tube and ends as water drops that play the strings of a deconstructed piano.  For this project we used a peristaltic pump, nylon tubing, Arduino, contact microphones, and a deconstructed piano.
